Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back.
Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD.
Ann loves to talk with her fans, as long as they realize she's weird, and that sarcasm doesn't translate well via text.

As you realize I've gotten away from doing my Book Blog, but for this book I'm glad I cleaned the dust of the old girl and I am thrilled to play hostess to everyone on this blog tour.
Where does one begin after reading a book that reached inside their-selves and ripped out their heart, tossed around for a game of hacky-sack and then attempted to put it back, only slightly bruised.
Holy Fuck! I've spent the better part of my adolescence as a girl who thought and felt her self worth was worth shit. That no one would love me because of my disease, or because I was overweight, or a million other things that a young impressionable girl can think. Thank the creator that I now have a loving and doting husband that humors me when I fan-girl over authors or something nerdy.That was literally a roller coaster of emotions, I couldn't put this book down once I'd opened it. Layla and Mark where perfect, their character development, the setting, admittedly I have to say that the villain was kinda lack luster once I'd come to that part. The build up was great but then the actual scene of the rescue.... nada. After the first two books in this series as well as her other books that are in the same verse, this left me with a case of blue balls.
And it really shocked me. Ann you have never, ever left a girl hanging but damn girl :(
Other than that minute detail, the book was the usual sexy you'd come to expect from the wonderful and amazing Ann Mayburn. I definitely look forward to the continuation of this and other series by her in the future.
